Advice and support for employees
We are all individuals and have individual needs.
Our Better Health at Work service is tailor made to
meet your own personal requirements.
Our service is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.
The Better Health at Work Team provide a support service for individuals who live or
work in the Kirklees area and who feel that work is, has or could in the future
contribute to their ill health.
We are working alongside local G.P’s, other health professionals
and agencies to provide:
- Advice and guidance on all aspects of health and wellbeing at work.
- Support and information to enable you to address work related health issues.
- Contact information for specialist services and support groups.
- Advice and guidance on the prevention of ill health which may affect you in your workplace.
Our Workplace Safety Advisers are trained to provide confidential advice and information to individuals on matters relating to health and safety.
Services can include:
- Health and safety training to help improve understanding of legislation.
- Advice and guidance on all aspects of workplace health and safety.
- Support and information to enable you to address work related safety issues.
- Contact information for specialist safety services.
- Representation in discussions with your employer, trade union or personnel department on health and safety issues (if requested by employee).
